Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before booking your GoldFrame experience.
1. Booking Retainer
A CAD $250 booking retainer is required to reserve your event date and time. The booking retainer secures our services and ensures our team and equipment are exclusively allocated for your event.
Refund Policy:
- If your event date is more than 30 days away at the time of booking, the booking retainer is refundable until 30 days before your event date.
- If your event date is within 30 days at the time of booking, the booking retainer is non-refundable.
2. Damage Retainer
A CAD $250 damage retainer is required at the time of booking in addition to the booking retainer.
The damage retainer is fully refunded after the event once the equipment has been confirmed undamaged. Verification is conducted 1-2 days after your event.
If damage to equipment occurs during your event, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the damage retainer. If costs exceed the damage retainer, you will be invoiced for the remaining balance.
3. Payment Terms
At Time of Booking:
- Booking Retainer: CAD $250
- Damage Retainer: CAD $250
Total due at booking: CAD $500
Remaining Balance:
The remaining balance (package price minus the CAD $250 booking retainer) is automatically charged 2 days before your event date. You will receive an email reminder before this charge.
Additional Fees:
A travel fee of CAD $50 to CAD $150 may apply for venues located outside our primary service area. This fee will be disclosed and confirmed before you complete your booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
A cancellation link is included in your booking confirmation email. Please use this link to request cancellation.
Cancellation more than 30 days before event:
- Booking retainer: Fully refunded
Damage retainer: Fully refunded
Cancellation within 30 days of event:
- Booking retainer: Non-refundable
Damage retainer: Fully refunded
Cancellation after remaining balance is charged:
If cancellation occurs after the remaining balance has been charged (within 2 days of your event), no refunds will be issued for the package price. The damage retainer will be refunded.
5. Service Agreement
GoldFrame agrees to provide the booked experience as described in your selected package. Services include equipment setup, operation during your rental period, and teardown.
The client agrees to provide accurate event details, a suitable location for equipment setup, and access to electrical power within 50 feet of the installation area.
GoldFrame reserves the right to cancel or postpone services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, venue emergencies, or equipment failure. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of all retainers and payments.
6. Liability
The client is responsible for the safety and security of GoldFrame equipment during the rental period. Any damage caused by guests, venue conditions, or negligence will be assessed and deducted from the damage retainer.
GoldFrame is not liable for any injuries sustained by guests while using our equipment. Guests use the photo booth at their own risk.
GoldFrame is not responsible for venue-related issues including power outages, space restrictions, or venue rules that may affect service delivery.
7. Photo Rights & Usage
Clients and their guests retain rights to all photos taken during the event for personal use.
GoldFrame reserves the right to use photos from events for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media, and advertising materials. If you do not wish photos from your event to be used, please notify us in writing at least 7 days before your event.
